I put my vote in for the answer. Oddly enough I chose the pulse when it was my choice to make. No regrets.
I second the pulse and the brace at your draw length wont be a problem it it will be plenty fast enough with your arrow weight.Pulse is Elites best bow IMO even over the Answer.Go to your local dealer and shoot a pulse for a while and see what becomes of it may not be for you.

Answer all the way! I have spent the last two months looking at all of the Elite bows,Strother,NBA,Hoyt,Mathews,Bowtech,etc. The Answer is a fantastic bow with a longer ATA and BH than the Pulse. I do have a question for you. Why in the world are you shooting 500-600 grains? Yes it has more Kenetic energy but you lose speed that way especially with your draw length.

I ended up with a Pulse, have had it for about a month. I have tuned,tweaked, and shot it a ton. I shoot it pretty good, but the grip and very slight vibe kinda bother me. So it's up for sale or trade on AT, I'm not totally giving up on Elite. Just looking for something a little different, anyone have a Fire or Aigil they want to get rid of?
How bout posting what you want for it here?just a thought
