Answer Speed

Anybody shooting a 27 inch Draw Answer at 60#. What speeds are you getting

27/70 350 grains at 302.4fps with a peep, loop and leeches. My 426 grain hunting arrows were 278fps iirc.

Just chrono'd my Answer last night!! 70lb...27" dl...factory string/leeches...peep and d loop...407 grain arrow... = 264.5 fps!!!! What!?!?!?

Pretty disappointed!! My Hoyt with all the same specs plus WC strings (bare) and peep and d loop was getting 280 fps!!

I love the Answer but DANG!!

With your set up you should be around 271fps with smooth mods. If you had speed mods I bet you would be 277-280fps. BIG difference on my rig

Just lengthened out a 30 inch smooth mod Answer for a buddy to 30.5 inches. 60lbs and 299 grain arrow. shooting 328fps with a peep and loop. no leaches. Im thinking maybee might have to have one with speed mods.

Glad to hear that you could stretch it out a half inch, that makes me smile, since I am still a little leary about making my upcoming project work out right...
