    Default 29" Answer tuning question

I have a 29" answer with speed mods. Got the ATA set at 33.5 and brace height at 7". Bow pulls 72.5 lbs on 70lb limbs. Cams are synched right now. Draw length to the throat of the handle is 28.0" with a 15lb hold weight. The bow does not get to 71lbs until 7.5" as measured from original string position into the pull. What do I need to adjust to bring the loading up earlier into the draw cycle? Also I think the draw might be slight long, but not sure. Any help would be great. A Mathews convert.

Your DL is now at 29.75 IF you are measuring from the deepest part of the grip to the string.
I will guess that is the case bc you also need to move the DFC forward.
You'll need to do two things. Untwist the cables and twist the string to get DL correct and keep ATA and BH in spec.
With the speed mods you may be slightly long on DL.
I would start by taking 2 twists out of each cable and add add 3-4 twists to the string.
    See where that puts it.
You'll have to do some tweaking.

I agree with archer58inPA! I want to get speed mods for mine also but I have heard the same thing. I've heard you lose the valley and some back wall and it will increase your draw length quiet a bit.
