    Archer1-

Not trying to get in a "shouting" match... I think we agree that what he is asking is that if he bought a GT500 and would like to change the Draw Length, would he be able to get another set of cams? Yes, but only if he was a GT500 owner.

If you read his post, he states that he is in Europe and he does the work on his bows.

    So, we agree. Cool.

We have now 6 ELITE dealers and one ELITE distributor in Germany, I am sure one of those can and will help you although your ELITE was bought in France.

Is my first post so difficult to understand? I have reasons to buy a cam separately. I might buy a used GT500 in the future, but it's rather difficult to get a 27,5" draw bow. And then most bows don't offer the exact draw length (form me the exact dl is a very important point, shooting to long or short of a dl can messup your shooting dramatically). So a 27,5" might even be longer (just have a look at the problems Elite had with the dl).
And btw I don't own a GTO to put other cams in - or did I ever say this .

Sorry but sometimes it seems to me like some people are just posting to increase their post count.

But thanks to those who gave some informative answers .

Perphaps I will just stay with the bows I have, there it's easy to get some new cams. Changing cams buy sending the old ones back causes me to much trouble (at least form the place where I'm form).

Lightbulb Reasons to want getting different cam sizes at the same time ...

Perhaps I want to widen my possibilities to resale the bow ...
Or just tinker myself, looking for the sweetest spot in between sizes ...
Or save shipping costs from a dealer who is distant from me ...
Or not takeing the risk to have the parcel lost in the mail ...
Or not wanting to have the bow without cams waiting for the new size to arrive ...
Or not being sure which size fits me best, and after sending back the first ones I want them again ...

From a dealer's point of view, modules might be preferrable. I see pros and cons on each system. If Elite has gone the "no modules" way now, I would like them to counteract the very few system "cons" as well as they can, then it will be almost perfect !

To clear the record on my post,I have sent Paramecium an apology in a pm.The quote above is where I picked up on this thread and I never really read his first post or I would not have worded my post the way I did.I assumed that it was common knowledge that if a bow has draw length specific cams, then those cams are available just as modules are available. No dealer can predict what draw length is going to walk in and buy a bow so dealers will have to stock the cams just as they would stock modules. The only difference is cams cost more than mods to stock and it takes more time to swap cams than it does mods.Sorry if I came accross as being rude. That was not my intention and I apologize if I offended anyone. As far as the comment on my post count,I spend an average of 3 to 4 hours a day checking this forum. If I wanted to have a high post count,I have had plenty of opportunities to do so.I dont post often because it is easy to have misunderstandings like this.

    Hi Archer 1,

    thanks for your PM.

I was just a little bit upset because of many posts saying nothing about my question. So people began to discuss about string and calbe lengths but this had nothing to do with my question. So I was little bit upset about the thread as a whole.
