    Default Hunter or Answer or keep Z28?

    Looking for some feeback. Between the two, which would you choose strictly for a hunting bow, the Answer or Hunter? I don't have any Elite dealers within 2 hours of where I live so I haven't shot the Answer yet. I shot the Hunter last year and liked it, alot. The only thing that concerns me with the answer is the tuning problems and shims, etc alot of guys claim they have had issues with. I'm not one to tinker with my setup because frankly I don't know enough about it so a trip to a dealer would be in the works if extra tuning is needed. The only concern I have with the hunter is the speed.

    How much better are these two compared to an 08.5 Z28? Should I just keep shooting my Z and forget about the new bow itch I have?

    They are all pretty similar in specs with the exception of the answer being faster. The shim thing with the answer is a non issue as far as I'm concerned. In my opinion it's brought up by guys who are new to elite bows and have read what others have written negatively about tuning problems with the answer that just don't exist. Pot stirrers!

    If you are happy with your Z and shoot if well there is really no reason to change unless you just want something newer. Your current bow is great for hunting.

    I wouldn't sell the z unless its an ap 70lber and then I may be interested in it. I sold mine and now I can't find one to replace it. Have yet to see a 70lb Answer but judging buy how the 60lber shoots I'd say buy that one to!!

    I could not think of a better back up bow for my Z than the Answer. Now I think the Z will be the back up bow! The Answer is one smooth drawing tack driving son of a gun!

    Keep your z for hunting. And pick between the other two for the one that shoots best for you good luck you can not go wrong

    Keep the Z28! There is a reason it was produced for so long and the 2008 is the fastest one by far. The 2008s are hard to come by and expensive when found. If you have to buy a new one, keep that one for a while before selling. You may be selling a different one before it is over
