It depends on where your specs are. DL and DW being the ones I would start with.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.
I still do that also Rick, you would think with the amount of bows between us that it wouldn't be that way LOL
I second both the posts above.
if my DL and DW are where i need them to be I will "half" the twist to each cable. ( a Dot to me is the BIG dot's, the little Dots are HALF dot's. I also do ALL my twists on the cables from the take-up post.)
lets say the bow could use more DW or has room for a half pound or pound, then if the top cam is a half Dot behind the bottom cam, i will put a full twist in the bottom cam's take-up cable. this will move the top cam.
so if your spec's DL&DW are on then you would split the twists, meaning a half twist in one and a half un-twist in the other to even them up.
(and just so you know Rick, you posting that made me go to the room to confirm what i wanted to write down LMAO!)
Glad to see I am not the only one who twists wrong the first time.lol I actually amazed myself last bow I did it right the first time in the press.
Wassaw I use the same method you do. I almost was going to answer this thread earlier today but I typed everything using advance and retard and didn't want to start an argument on which was which.lol
I have that debate ( advance vs retard) with myself still. chicken or egg. My answer was vague. Thanks for filling in the pertinent info.
