What hardware do you have? If your not missing anything it may take a few tries to find the right angels. Both the shaft and the triangle part can be flipped around to find desired position. Or the two pegs can be mounted directly to sight. That's how I mounted mine.

Arrow weight is simple to explain. I would prefer to catch a baseball going 100mph then a baseball made of lead going 70mph.
