    Default Answer Cam on GT500

I know a lot of guys like rev-ing the older bows....

Anyone put the new cams on a GT500?

    Thanks!

Would be cool for sure. Speed mod answer cams should be about as fast as anything we've seen.

My GT is a 08.5 and is all scratched.

I'd love to give her a fluff and buff....black riser, ASAT limbs...answer cams, new taz strings and cables! Still cheaper than an answer!

It doesn't always work out that way, there are a lot of factors and it could very well lose speed. And it would also void your warranty since Elite still has Rev cams, the reason the older bows get away with being Rev'd is because that is actually the factory replacement since the original K8 cams cannot be reproduced.

I understand wanting to frankenbow your bow but you can void the warranty if Elite still have factory replacement parts on hand, just wanted to let you know.

I didn't know you could rev and keep your warranty. Pretty good deal there.

On the 2006 line you can as I ask every time I rebuild one, I am not sure on the 2007 and up. Elite really took care of all the older Elite shooters who really liked the 2006 line, it just shows that they care about their customer base even if those customers don't have some of the newer bows.

Once they ran out of original K8 cams, the replacement cams for 2006 bows were the Synergy cams. Once they ran out of them it became the Rev cams.
