    Default Switching out Mods help

    I current have a 27.5 DL shooting the smooth mod on my Answer. If I swap out to a 28 speed mod would I need to replace the stings also? Or is the only thing I need to change are the mods? I know this might sound like a noob question, but I'm new to all this. Any help would be great.
