Default Whose put '12 cable rods on '11s?

Thinking of changing mine out since I had to move my rest to get my sights to work and now center shot is off. There is slight cam lean but not major. Think this will help and how much are they?

I put one on my Pulse as I was having the same problem with sight. It helped a bunch on my bow and now I have plenty of adjustment. I also put one on my Hunter but it didnt change anything and I believe it made the bow louder for some reason so I took it off.

I cant remember what I paid for the bent rod but it was worth it on my Pulse.

If you are thinking about putting one on a Hunter I have an extra lying around.

Take a look at the 2012 bows on the Elite home page, they all have the bent cable guard on them and I think you can get a pretty good look at them in those pics.

I put one on my Pulse and Pure. Made a big difference on the Pulse, not a ton on the Pure. The rods were ~$12/ea if I remember correctly.

Does it give less vane clearance since it brings the cables closer?

You can turn the bent rod to have equal cable clearance as the straight rod or no clearance, or anywhere in between. The less clearance you can live with, the less torque induced by the cables, and your pins will move closer to center.

Here's my post from last year. I was one step ahead before the 2012 models came out and decided that an offset cable rod was the way to go. Just make sure you have at least 1/4" of vane clearance to take into account of hand/bow torque/arrow bending while releasing the arrow. Add more clearance if need be....best to test with powder for any contact and adjust accordingly.
