    Default Another Answer tuning problem.

Ok I need same help with my answer. Just put new strings and speed mods on my bow tonight. Draw length, ata, timing are spot on. Shoots bullet holes threw paper at 1,4,10 yds. Problem is my center shot, in order to got the bullet holes I am rediculously left, 1 1/8 to be exact. I cant follow the arrow enough with my sight to get it on at 20yds.
    71lbs
    29" draw
Harvest time ht1 arrows 350 spine cut to 28.5 inches, 100 gr tips.
At rest it does have a slight cam lean but at full draw seems square if it is off its not much.

It is a new bow, I checked the shims, small one on string side and 2 thicker ones on cable side. Should be right I think?

Would greatly appreciate any ideas as to what i should do!

Did you play with any other arrows? Different tip weight to make the spine change a little? What type of rest are you shooting?

Make sure you have no fletching contact. Then make sure again.

Your arrows seem fine and shimming sound right. Did you test anything with the stock harness and smooth mods?

Are you sure you have the cables crossed correctly and the cable slide on in the right direction? Did it shoot fine before changing strings?

Didn't shoot the bow bow before doing the work, the strings were freyed when it arived so just got new ones, and wanted the extra speed/ke out of the speed mods for my up coming trip to Africa. I am still waiting on the arrows I will be taking there, ordered 340spine axis arrows with 125gr heads for that.
Useing a AAE D.O.A drop away rest. Did double check fletch clearence, seems good.

I guess INever considered the spine could be too stiff, just figured i missed something in the tune.

Just checked cable slide, the long slot is closest to the string. Should be right.

Nope, long slot goes in front toward the riser. I'm betting your cables are routed wrong.

I have the same set up and ran into same problem with those arrows. Cut them to 27.75" and put an 85 grain tip on it. Or step up to a 300 spine. Great arrow but with an 85 grain insert and 100 grain tip it is softening the spine to much. Got the same set up as you and already dealt with that problem. Good luck.

Ok, well after reading replies the cable slide is backwards. Long slot is on string side, but I took pictures of the bow before starting working on it, it IS the same as it came from the factory. So it arrived wrong. Will work on it this afternoon and see if that fixes the problem.
