Default Serving speration on Control Cable

    Hi Gang

I am a new Elite Hunter owner and LOVE the Bow. However, after a couple of hundred shots there is significant serving seperation on the sharp bend of the control cable. I understand that this problem is not limited to Elite bows, but rather sharp bends in the cam of most manufacturers.

Now my question. Has anyone used angel majestry (magestic .15) serving on this portion of the cable?

I have used this in the past on a Mathews bow and it held up much better than the Halo-14.
Also, Has anyone reduced the # of stands to 22 to get a better fit in the cam?

    Thank You

    Gary

If they are stock strings, not surprised they are separating. Usually a god set of aftermarket strings will not separate. I've had the best luck with 60X or John's Customs.

Im glad I am not the only one disappointed in the strings they are using. I have 2 2012 Elites that the strings are seperating and stretch really bad, and no they are not the early 2012 bows. My wifes Hunter is 2 weeks old and after the first week it got new strings because of this problem, the new ones for my pulse showed up today.
