    Default What press?

I'm thinking about buying my own press so I can tinker and do some of my own tuning. It doesn't need to be portable. Shop I'm buying the bow from is about 100 miles away. I'd like something that will allow me to change strings/cables, but taking the bow completely apart isn't important.

Any recommendations? Going to be pressing a Pure and a Drenalin.

Should also add that I'm not interested in fabricating one.

Sur-loc x-press works great. It is a little spendy though.

Bow-a-constricta is the Rolls Royce if you want to spend that much.

To do what you want you don't need anything very expensive or elaborate.
Where are you located? I have a press that I'd like to sell pretty dang cheap and it will do all you need it to. Have pressed bowtechs, elite's, mathews, bear, hoyt without a single problem.
PM me if you are interested.

Can't beat a bow master with the parallel/split limb attachments for the occasional user. Cheap but effective if your not working on bows every day.

Id recommend a linear style press. Not too expensive and not a cheap ratchet press, but can do everything you need.

The 2 presses i have are the Omnipress and the pacpress monster. Both are capable of doing tuning and string change on about any now out there and no ratchet straps.

Sent from the device my wife thinks I'm obsessed with............she's just jealous!!
