I won't corner you by asking for a recommendation, but I would like to know how many grains per pound you shoot when you hunt whitetails? After all 5gpp for you is still a 750 grain arrow.

I'm going from memory, so I may be wrong. I believe Kevin told me back in 06 that he hunted with a 175# bow and arrows less than 5 gpp and that his arrows flew at some almost mystical speed. I don't remember the number but it was mind boggling.

It would be nice to come out of the woods with it precooked.I think Kevin believes you can singe your way through, if your arrow is fast enough.
