Default Need help from some Pros

Ok, I've been shooting my Envy at 62# 30" dl 30" cx maxima 350 hunters 422gr 295 fps. I have two pins on my sword sight for 20 yd & 40 yd. I feel comfortable shooting from 0 to 50+ yards with this setup and I'm very pleased. I need a few new arrows and will probably keep what I'm shooting now unless there is something to gain...I could cut at least 2" off of my current arrow and still be ok, or I could shoot a 28" 250 going by the CX chart. I know nothing about spine and what would possibly be affected by switching arrows or lengths. Could someone speculate as to what would be the best arrow for my setup? Keep in mind I'm pretty happy now...just looking for perfection. Thanks all.

I shoot a Synergy, 28DL x 60#. I use 26.5" CX Maxima's, any longer is to limber to shooot Broad Heads. I think they would NOT fly well out of a still faster bow (Eny)
Use Archers Advantage software to choose your shaft, you will not be dissappointed.

Blazer vanes, 100gr field tips & rage 3 shoot the same. Just got some montecs and slick tricks to try too. No wrap right now. What would wraps help?

You have to go to the Mathews forum. They say all the Pros shoot Mathews, don't you know.

The wraps help if the shaft is a little weak. Adding weight to the rear helps to stiffen it up. The CE maxima 350's are as good as it is going to get, unless you step up the the 3D selects.

Thanks Michael...I see that is with the 28". So should I cut 2" off my 30" arrows? It would also give me a little speed increase. Or should I just keep them at 30"? Where can I download that program, too. Thanks Again!

The 28" you are seeing is the actual length of the carbon fiber (does not include tip, or nock). To answer the question though, I would cut them down.

You can purchase and download the software at http://www.pinwheelsoftware.com/

It is very accurate, but it is only as good as the information you put in.
