I dunno,I know they went through some things before so hopefully this is it? I doubt it would be recent...its dated 2008 and u know how the system works....Maybe some of the othere members can fill you in more. This is only my second year shooting Elite.... Hopefully many many more years to come....the recent threads have gotten me a little worried. Every time I find something I like,it goes away so....

instead to build decent bow, they taking chances ....
it seems Elite becomes a target for "big" names in bow industry , because of high quality bows, superb design , price and CS .
more and more people start to realize there is some small company building superior bows , better than their "big brand name " bows .

Elite need clever strategy how to survive these days , and secure the piece of the market which naturaly belongs to them in days to come ....

Patent trolling is another revenue stream and if you don't defend patents, you can lose them. It's just busy work for lawyers, means nothing.

old news, Mathews is suing Elite for copying their cams. Elite's owner (Pete) said he's not worried.

I wouldn't worry myself over companies suing each other. An old businessman once told me that if you're not suing or being sued you weren't doing business. He owned six different businesses and was always involved in litigation.

its a shame tho...seems like Elites going through lots of Hardship at this point in time...Last year it seemed like they were just booming.

Anytime there a lawsuit it can be serious. Especially when someone got as deep pockets as Matt. Remember a Canadian company that folded due to PSE suing them. Hopefully will hear good news from Pete soon about this. He didnt act very worried when he posted about this.

I agree that any lawsuit ain't good as we know lawyers ain't cheap!! Anytime I have to blow unecessary cash, that ain't good.

But I do agree with fowlhunter's point as well.
