If it was the one on Ebay that had 08 pockets, be glad you didn't get it....unless you had 06 pockets for it. Problem is only 06 pockets fit 06 risers otherwise only the limb bolt holds the pockets in place. That's bad IMO.

True that the 08 and up pocket do not have the side screws that mount it to the riser. The only loss from using the newer pockets is about a 2-3 fps from a slight loss in poundage from what I have found. I do not have the side screws mounted on any of mine. The limbs do not move around enough for them to make a difference. Now it would be nice to be able to get 06 pockets but as you know they are hard to find. Unless you are nostalgic or are going for original its not a big deal. Having said that I am not poking fun at 10PT.

Completely understand Ron. But after having a couple of bows blow up on me I just feel safer making sure the pockets are attached to the riser. Alot of torque generated at full draw. Probably more of a mental thing with me. I've heard the speed loss is minimal as you stated. I'm probably leaning towards the nostalgic side LOL.

I can see the blow up issue. Never had that happen. I did have a limb break in half at full draw but that was decades ago. I just wish they still made the 06 pockets.
