1st time Elite owner

Just picked up a new GT 500. NICE BOW!
I was talking with a guy at work about hunting. He tells me how he won a bow a few years back at a Ducks Unlimited banquet and that he's not into archery at all, but loves duck hunting. He brings it in the next day and as it turns out its a new 09 GT500 still in the box! He's never even shot it. He says give me $275 and its yours. Well for that price who would pass that up.
Ordered some new DLS cams from Elite and got er all tuned up today. I gotta say man it's FAST. I got 324 through my pro-chrono shooting 69.3lbs, 29.5" draw, 351gr arrow. This is with d-loop and G5 peep. This things getting around 340 IBO. This is not my shooting set-up, but my just curious set-up.
Bow holds great, is pretty smooth and vibe free. May take a little while to like that grip, but so far am very happy with my purchase. Trevor

That is seriously a steal on that bow. I am very jealous to say the least.

gt 500 is one if not the greatest bow elite made. and that year is a good one. do yourself a favor buy a ss1 stab for it. I can shoot a 3" group at 80 with mine

Wow and I was fired up to get mine off AT for $375. Congrats on the find. You can tell by my signature that I am partial to the 09 GT's. Incredible bows. Since you only spent that much on your first one you can start saving for the next one, you can't own just one Elite.
