Here are links to the three:

I am kinda leaning towards the CBE Tek Hunter with a CBE up single-pin scope.....

I have two CBE Tek Hunter's that I put a Viper scopes on and I really like these sights. I also have a Sure Loc Sportsman Special that I put a Sword Titan scope on. Its a pretty good combo like that but between the two I think the CBE is much better built and I like it the best between the two. I believe the G5 has horizontal pins and I can't shoot those so I can't comment on it.

I have two sportsmans specials, one on each of my GT500's. Very precise sight. Been using them for hunting and such for 3 years.

Yes, it does have horizontal pins. I have shot with them before, but once I switched to an HHA slider I realized how much nicer a single vertical pin really is. I guess the brings it down to just the Smortman Special and the Tek Hunter.....

-What is it about the Tek Hunter that seems better made to you?

-For a hunting sight, which would be faster to adjust in a pinch? I would think a slider would have a slight speed advantage, but I have never used a Tek, so I don't know.....?

-Which one seems to be heavier? Tek or Spotsman Special?

    -Which one seems more durable?

The Tek Hunter has more material and just seems more solid so Its probably a little heavier.

I guess the slider would be a little quicker in a hunting situation but I haven't had an issue with the TEK adjusting with the star on the sight tape.

More durable? I'd say the TEK. I have modified both with different scope housings because I don't like the one's that come with them with the fiber running thru the little plastic tube and exposed to hanging on something.
