A few closeups of the modded Limbdriver. The string allows for the most precise length setting (via twists) and consistency. Attaching to the axle works flawlessly guys, the 0.070" spacer seems built on purpose, LOL! It scares if it fails though, youŽre fried if it happens ...

Limb driver is a very good rest. I have 3 of them and no issues. My favourite though is my TT smack down, bottom limb driven and uses bearings instead of bushings. I have the TT on a SR-71 and it works flawlessly. Seriously thinking of putting it on the Tour.

Guys at Vapor Trail insisted in having me giving it a try for spots (I have always been reluctant to fall aways) and they didnŽt mention the Smack Down ... IŽd like it being micro-driven in elevation and windage adjustments though. My groups are more consistent now, I believe it is the "forgiveness" factor in it.

Don't get me wrong, the LD is a great rest and I am glad you are having immediate results with it. Truthfully they are both apples and apples as a comparison. Let me know via PM's how you are doing further in to it.

They didn't mention it because they don't make it....Trophy Taker makes it http://www.trophytaker.com/smackdown.aspx

    Thanks Brown Hornet!
Trophy Taker SS Pro is "my other rest", the one that the Limbdriver has put back for now.

No problem gt500elitist, I am not a fanboy in anyway!
The LD allowed me to rotate nock for cock vane 10 oŽclock; I can tune the Tilt Tamer then for as less lateral cable pull as possible at rest (as well as at full draw as for its inherent design properties).

I have never seen a limbdriver attached to the limb in this fashion. Is there any benifits to this over just using the limbdriver "button" and just attaching it directly to the limb? I have mine made with a custom cord similar to yours, very easy to adjust length and to take off to make adjustments. I have been using limbdrivers on some of my bows for many years now, I am sure you will like yours.

I like thinking out of the box, you know ...

Seriously now. I like how clean this mount is. Sure you need to remove the axle and spacer, which might be difficult for many who do not have access to a press, but once istalled, you forget about it stretching-moving-failing. The original adhesive limbpad and d-loop material system failed on me day one, so I rapidly developed what you see. Now it is 100% repeatable shot after shot and I am happy with it. Axle driven means a faster drop when required bc the limb moves faster at the tip than at the fork (hope it makes sense)
