its set with two small set screws?
atleast I think thats what your asking..
That's kind of what I thought. I was hoping that it screwed in like a stab on the front. I was hoping to be able to put my side bar mount on the back like I used to for my Pro Elite. I hate using QDs and having the mount on the front.
Wish companies would go back to putting these threaded holes on the back of the bow.

All the bows until 2012 have the bushing to screw in the barrels that hold the suppressor rods. you can remove them and bolt on a rear stab mount.
I really wish they wouldnt of redesigned the suppressor rod this year though. Great for the cable rod but not to handy for the rear stab mts.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.
Dang it. That sucks. I was really hoping to be able to use that hole. I was pretty sure the 2011s it would work but was hoping it was the same this year. On a now like the Tour I could careless about a string stop. It's a target bow I won't even fire an arrow with the thing on there probably.

Not sure about the Tour. Might ask Pete or Jkk in a pm about that one. It is a target type bow and maybe they didnt change it?
I knew you wouldnt shoot with a suppressor rod. lol! I remember the conversations in the past.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.
LOL....yep not a fan. BUT I do have one on the Katera XL I hunt with....only because it helps keep the string off the jacket. When I figure out which model I want to get for hunting....I will leave the stop on there.
But there is nothing wrong with them....I just don't see the need for one on a target bow.....and looking at the picture of the 12' Tour the stop rod appears to attach the exact same way as on the other bows.
The mount for the string stop can be removed. I put a Doinker back weight on it. IMHO the tour shoots better without the stop

Yep I think that's a 2011....I knew those would accept a screw. But the 2012s didn't look like they did.
as a tip that I learned back in 2009....and of course Blair said oh yeah I thought I told you that after I talked to him about it.....take the rear Doinker off your your bow...and this comment has ZERO to do with Doinker vs B-Stinger....when you are at fulldraw some of that extra movement you see in your sight picture is actually caused by the Doinker. The weight on the end of the rubber will cause any movement in your weight (trust me it wiggles) to be magnified in your sight. I took mine off and added the weight back to the riser there to give me the same feel. Man what a difference.
But then I removed it all together...if you need more weight add it to your side rod were it will do more for you stability wise.![]()
