I don't think So,,, Thats why you see so many not fill out their warrenty cards,,
I don't want to stand in judgement here but, if you are the original owner and don't fill out the card and pass it on so someone else can pretend to be the original owner that's not honest. In the end only you can set the ethical standards you live by. Remember one thing though, "a man is only as good as his word." If a person will cheat the manufacturer. What will he do to you?

It wasn't meant as a lecture. More of a caution. Why would you believe someone who would cheat someone else wouldn't cheat you?

Doesn't matter really. The manufacturer knows when the bow was produced and shipped. I am sure they could figure out what is going on when they receive the warranty card 4 months or longer down the road.
I personally think a warranty should stick to the product no matter who owns it, if in fact the problem is not caused by modification or abuse. I would rather see a 2-5 year warranty than a lifetime, that could end in a matter of a few months, if the bow is sold.

It's funny you would mention that Michael. In the early days of Elite I had a conversation with Kevin about that very subject and have done several posts on AT about it. Seven is the Biblical number of completition. I suggested a seven year warranty on the bow, not it's owner. Elite makes bows not owners. If they feel secure in a lifetime warranty to the original owner, why wouldn't they feel secure in a seven year warrant covering all owners. Eventually they won't have parts on hand to do warranty work on your bow anyway. This would increase the value of a used Elite for it's first seven years. After seven years a bow is obsolete these days anyway.
