All right, here it is for all you tuner fellers.
A couple months ago I bareshaft tuned and broadhead tuned my new 2010 Z28 quite nicely. Broadheads hitting with field points.
Decided to switch back from a LimbDriver to a QAD. When I went out to tune it, bare shafts now hit wayyyy to the left. Broadheads hit way left too for whatever reason. When I say way to the left, its not only the POI, but the arrow is way nock right, point left. Like on a severe angle.
No biggie, right? Just move the rest a little. But no matter what I did, I could not close the gap between bh and field points.
Thinking I was having problems [again] with that QAD, I switched back to my trusty LimbDriver. Everything went back in the exact same place as I had it indexed.
Well, bareshafts still hitting the same place. WTH? This is not a little bit, its like 10" from 15 yards.
Same arrows, same bh, same everything. I checked timing, its still on, specs are close to the same, getting max dw within 6" of draw.
I put a couple twist in the cables because the dw was down about 1/2# but bareshafts still hit way left.
Now the only thing I can think of thats changed was a few days ago I noticed the lower speed buttons were way low compared to the upper ones so I looked up the specs and put them where they belong. But I dont see how that could make the diff in POI.
The only thing I've not checked was for cam lean. Do you all think that may be the problem?
Anyone have a clue what might of happend, or what I need to do to get this thing shooting right again?
Thanks.
Skeet.
