Are numbers you guys are getting with string leeches, I understand some are coming with and some without leeches. How much speed variation are you getting.

I remember Pete saying that there was a loss of about 2-3fps in all the testing that they did, but a 10% decrease in noise for that 2-3fps.

Whoa, I missed that 10% figure. I'm curious if the cable rod limbsaver made any measureable difference...

So buy yourself an Answer, and start pulling and playing, LOL.

Here is the anouncement from the man himself:

We have had a really great relationship with Limbsaver for about three years now. They have some incredible testing equipment and products. As many of you know I have used cat whiskers for years. This year it was recommended for me try using Everlast String leeches and cable leeches by Limbsaver. Well, after some testing we achieved an over 10% reduction in noise from the Answer and our other bows. It is very noticeable on an already quiet bow. So we decided late last week to include them on every bow. The dealers that have received Answers will get them sent to them this week and customers that have new Answers can get them for free direct from us.

We decided to include them in the bow because it easier for consumers to pull them out, than put them in.

It takes 2-3 fps off the bow. If you need the 2-3 fps, you can just pull them out. The bow is, on my opinion, the quietest bow you can buy with them in. This gives everyone a fair comparison to other bows that are overloaded with dampeners.

For me, these Limbsaver products just enhance an already great bow. We didn't want to leave any question, unAnswered!!

Doesn't sound odd to me. I have monkey tails on my Pulse and can't find ant difference, either. Significant sound improvement, as well.

Does your Answer have cable leeches, as well? Curious if those make an even greater improvement.

Yes it does, bow is very quiet.

Im wondering if your chrono is working proper..Id almost bet mine there is some difference with or with out the leeches.
I dont have them in the Answer I have so I cant check. but most leeches Ive put on was a speed killer. as much as 8-9fps. I swear I can see 1 fps difference from shorter center serving and less around the peep.

But Im not saying your crazy lol! posting fyi more then not agreeing.

Since when did the answers come with leeches and what kind?

Are the spots they are placed on the strings in a place for optimum performance?

I never used leeches before LOL
