So how did we do this weekend? I went out Sunday morning, it was raining and windy. I saw a few does and an eager spike chasing them around. Saw deer all morning so it was a good morning. I think that spike thinks he owns the swamp I hunt since I shot that 8 point.
Terrible! I caught a glimpse of a deer early on Saturday and that was it. The acorns are non-existent, so I am not seeing deer movement like I usually do. I think I can get out tomorrow night, but I need to move onto plan B if I don't see anything.

Had 2 doe hang up on me a few minutes ago. Good start though.

All right team LEFT overs it's getting to be about that time of year. Time for the rut to start kicking in, and time for us to start putting up some serious points. Now being I'm from Michigan and the little over 100" buck i shot is a big one here, I'm looking for the rest of my team to put up some 140'' plus bucks. Lets get it going, I'll be out again this weekend trying.
140!?! lol!
I'll be happy with any deer right now. I had a doe on high alert around me for 30 mins tonight before she blew and took off. I'll be out in the nor'easter tomorrow.

I went out this morning and didn't see a dang thing. 3rd time in a row of not seeing a deer.
Killed a doe in Ohio today.Hunted 3 days up there and only had one buck in range and it was a 6pt I passed on it.I saw a monster on Saturday morning but never saw him again.I will be hunting hard here in a couple of weeks. Most of it will be on public land so I would be happy with a 100" buck.Good luck to the rest of you guys.
I have been filming a lot of does and small bucks. But all the does have fawns with them so I have been passing on them!

There was a lot of success on my weekend trip to Bradford Co in PA. Too bad none of it was me! Luck is just not on my side this year. The were two 9 pts killed, one with a 18" spread and the other with a 20" spread. There was also a nice 8 pt with a 16" spread killed. The other was a small 6 pt, two does, and a button buck. Six of nine hunters scored with one taking two deer.
This is the last week of archery in PA. I probably won't get out until Sat. After that I have to decide if I want to bow hunt during rifle which means I probably won't get a bow kill for the team.
