    Default Elk Beware

I am on my way to Colorado to hunt elk and mule deer. Hopefully, in the belly of this plane, is my new bow. I don't believe I have ever shot a bow as well as this one. I will try to keep you up to date with our progress. The elk reports have been poor from all over the west. Lots of slow activity. Hopefully, it will break loose while we are there. I am hunting with a new outfitter as well. I will report what I see there as well.

Some very exciting announcements coming soon...Thanks for all of your support and enthusiasm!

If I am successful, yes. I am sure there will be some grouse and rabbits around to make sure. I took my Hunter on the antelope hunt to avoid any accidental photos, and because I loved that bow. However, this new bow is about ready to make some pictures!! My equipment for this hunt is:

    A bow
CBE TekHunter sight and 3 pin scope, sight tape to 130 yards
    QAD rest
    Scott Rhino XT Release
    Gold Tip Kinetics 300 spine
    Slick Trick Standards 1"
    Predator vanes by Duravane
    Realtree Max 1

Awesome sight love mine as well...I use 5 fixed pins and have the last pin set to slide to 120yds

Either you are drawing more weight or you have a bow that is transferring a ton of energy into the arrow Care to share which it is?

Good luck on the hunt, the elk season down here in AZ has been super slow, the bulls have been quiet, very little bugle'n and staying out of sight for the most part.
