Default Why release new bows in September?

Wondering why Mfg release new bows in Sept when the season is starting. Seems more practical to release a new bow in June when we can buy them and get ready for the fall hunting season. Maybe Elite should set a new standard. Any thoughts?

I would like to see every company release at the ATA show AFTER deer season. It would make far more sense.

I like what Bowtech did with the big release of the Invasion. Not the bow, just how they released it.

I really tried to like that bow. Still do not care for it. I shot Jerry's which is dead and has a heavy B Stinger to keep it from hitting me in the head and just don't care for it.

I know a bunch of you guys love it, just not for me. It is nice though.

Doesnt matter your not getting them on the release date. Just because its released whats coming out doesnt mean you can get it. lol!

Id like to see it wait some also but its nice to plan ahead and make orders for the new year. Trouble is everyone thinks because it announced its ready to go and dealer have them coming.
Which would be nice, but too many dealers are on these forums so its leaked.. making it harder to keep under the rug until enough bows are built to rush the shops.
Might as well just announce it and start taking orders at the same time. the earlier you do this then the sooner you can get them built for dealers stock. hitting the first part of each year. this is my guess anyway.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.

It wasn't that long ago that this was the standard. Target bows should be released in October so they can be ready for the indoor season that starts in January.

January! For me thats the middle of target season. I start shooting seriously on Dec. 1st . Our indoor league starts here in western NY in the first week of Dec. Then leading up to states ,lancaster, and Vegas. Good times!
