    Default Hearing Enhancement

I am thinking about getting a hearing enhancement device for hunting. My hearing is not the best, and to top it off, my ears are consistantly ringing...probably too many concerts, gunshots and loud machinery at work. I have used a pair of muffs and they did an OK job, but I had trouble telling the direction of the sound and they messed up my anchor point. Looking for any suggestions from those of you that have tried the various products available. Not looking to spend a fortune, but I also know you get what you pay for.

My ears ring all the time too. I have been seeing a commercial on TV for some pills thats supposed to help stop that. I just dont wanna spend the money and then it comes right back because of the loud enviroment I work in.

As far as hearing devices, I know a guy that sells hearing aids and he said that what you buy at outdoor stores are OK but not near the quality of what being fitted for a real hearing aid is. He said you're gonna spend right about $2000 for top of the line stuff.
