I'm looking to get some heavier arrows in the 425 to 450 gr range. 09 gt500 30.5/72# tip weight is not set in stone. I don't really want ACC's or FMJ's any suggestions. OT2 says I need a .277 spine.

just curious, what don't you like about ACC's?
A little to spendy for me, and they will bend like an aluminum shafts.

Get some Easton Epics then. You might need a heavier tip than 125gr to get to the weight you desire.

spendy they are, but bending isn't an issue from my experience. A spent bag target and a block basement wall, well, another story...but it didn't bend...
100yrds.jpg
Goldtip Ultralite Pro's @ 100 yrds, 100 grain fieldpoint puts these at 378 grains fired from a 2011 pulse @ 30" and 70lbs off a tripwire rest. The sight is a CopperJohn Ants with a midified cross hair made from blaze orange braided ice fishing line.
What I'm running into is that TAP and OT2 say I need @ a .280 spine with 29.25 in shafts and a 125 gr tip. We tried this when I first got it. Couldn't get them to fly at all. Them being Beman ICS hunter 300's cut to 27.5" with 100 gr tips. I have been shootin Radial Xweave 300's cut at 29.25" with 100gr tips. They shoot great but are off the chart weak on OT2.

I think you would want a 350 spine at 72#, that's what I shoot with my gt500 28"/72#
To those that use TAP or OT2 do you change the default cam settings for the GT500?

Why not FMJs? mine weigh in at 422grains at 28 3/4in and shoot great.
