    Default 2010 Z28 Rest Choice

Just ordered a 2010 Z28. I have read that a lot of guys were having issues putting a QAD on the 09 models because of low burger holes. Has this issue been fixed with the 10 models?
What full containment rest do you recomend for the Z?
    Thanks.

The reasons the QAD's have trouble is because the riser on the z28 is rounded and not completely a flat surface for the rest to lay on. They recommend putting a rest on the mounts behind the riser, such as the limb driver or a G5 rest, like I have (G5 Expert 2). Love this rest. So simple and quiet. The only complaint people have about the G5's is the fact that the rest doesnt enclose the arrow, so the arrow can hop off the rest. But honestly, I can jerk the arrow back and it still stays on the rest just fine. I was concerned at first about this, but it hasnt been a problem. I think the Nap Apache encloses the arrow as well, like the QAD, but dont quote me on that.

I got to see my first elite Hunter last week at Scheels sporting goods in Lincoln NE and noticed that they have made the risers on the bow flat and more squared off. Looks like it will take a QAD style rest now, much better.

QADs don't work well on the Z but the Trophy Ridge or Limbsaver do!

Trophy Taker works fine on mine. I use a Pronghorn.

The answer to your question is yes. The issue with low berger holes was corrected on 2010 models. QAD's is fine rest and will work perfectly.
