Default Broadheads shooting different than Field points

So I have my bow sited in perfect with field tips, but when I put my broadheads on, the arrow goes left of the bullseye by 3-4 inches and above by an inch. I was told by an archery store that I need to go to a stiffer arrow. They said the opposite if shooting to the right. Has anyone heard this before. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thanks.

I'm not sure if it was you, but someone just posted a similar question in the General Section. Go check it out; there's some good advice there.

move your rest a touch(1/32-1/16) to the right, and shoot again......they should come closer together if its not a spine issue!!!!!

left and right is not spine....

sometimes up and down can be corrected by moving the rest or nock point up or down.....

what poundage? what arrow and tip weight? do you know the total weight of your arrow??? what draw length??

(just went through this tonight with a Frankin bow. my arrows... field tip hitting dead center... broadhead hitting high..) by moving the rest down i got the two to merge...
it's a rest, nock point, sight movement gathering

let us know what your set up is and we can help more
