Default I need help learning how to serve in peeps tighter.

I do not serve tight enough when installing a peep. I don't know what I am doing wrong and could really use some help. Have any of you made videos or anything on how to serve? I won't even attempt to serve in a drop away rest cable until I get this down. Thanks in advance

The serving slides really easy after I'm done. Tightening the serving down is where I'm having issues. I'm pretty sure I need to learn from scratch as I'm probably screwing up the whole process.

When tying in a drop away cords if you don't have a server just use alternating over hand knots. The key is tying a bunch, 5 of 6 won't stop the cording and the serving from sliding up the string - Use 15 - 20 knots finishished off with a square knot and that should keep it put for you

Do a search on You Tube there are several good videos showing how to do it correctly!

I do my peeps by hand - The key is not trying to pull the 2 seperate bundles of string together until they actually meet back up on their own. The other key is just keeping your wraps tight all the way up and then using a pair of needle nose pliers to make the final knot tight.

Ahh needle nose pliers just might do the trick for me. One of those things you just don't think about at the time.
