Selling my 08 GT500 and a whole bunch of goodies. PM me if interested.
Orientation as in pattern or layout...going two tone...yellow/blue...gonna be my Michigan Wolverines bow as they are my favorite college team (and yes...I live in Columbus, Oh so I have a hard life.)...Want to do a fade I think, but not sure orientation as is yellow in middle of riser faded to blue ends of riser or blue in middle of riser faded to yellow on ends of riser...Just want to make sure though a blend/fade of those colors doesn't produce any green. Would also do opposite color in the cutouts...i.e. on yellow parts of riser cutouts would be blue and on blue parts of riser cutouts would be yellow. String suppresssor rod color would depend on what color riser was at that spot. Limbs and limb pockets would probably be opposite color of limb ends...Would really then like to do the cams/mods in color opposite the limbs, but not at risk of voiding warranty, so those my stay as is.
Or maybe all that would just make it too busy...so possibly just go w/blue riser w/yellow cutouts and yellow pockets and limbs...or vice versa...see what I mean too many decisions.
I'm getting some yellow/blue strings and have a blue specialty archery pro series hooded peep on order as well as yellow and blue d-loop rope. I've already put a blue tennis racket wrap on as a grip and taped that w/yellow electrical tape and it looks good, but again that will depend on the colors I end up on the riser when done. I also put a Mathews yellow string stop on it, which by the way is much quieter than the stock string suppressor. I've got a yellow and blue custom sling on it now and I'm waiting on a blue piece of sling leather to replace my current black one. It'll look pretty awesome and unique once complete.

I talked to a guy today and he said that they could powder coat limbs, they just have to bake them on low heat for a longer peroid of time. you guys ever heard of this

You cannot powder coat a limb that I am aware of, its not metal that being said I would not cook a laminate limb due to potential risk of damage to the limb. With the riser it has to be heated up first to allow for any impurities to be released or the powder coat can be screwed up when it it done, I have had limb pockets wrinkle finished that ended up having spots where it did not take or no finish like a bubble. I have had Posten due some pockets, Eliteshooter on here did a couple risers for me and a guy if I remember right was 1CBRguy that did some excellent work. I have had metallics and silver vein done, also flat black and wrinkle finish. As far as trimming goes you can lightly and carefully sand the clear down to make things fit or remove it or have it masked off before coating.

I have had two of mine powder coated and loved it. More durable that paint or dipping. If you strip the riser yourself (very easy to do) you can take it to a motorcycle or auto customizing shop and have it powder coated for about $25 rather than the $100 or so at a shop. You do have to strip it yourself. Any good stripper will work. Get a gel type, put on a thick coat let it set and hose it off an use a toothbrush to get to tight places. Repeat if necessary. Not hard at all. Have stripped paint and camo.

Suggest matte finish, semi-gloss or gloss is pretty bright unless it is a target bow.
