    My shop uses x-presses. I think thats what elite recomends for a press, am i right?

    I was just wondering how much was the risor bent? Will the bend that easy?

    Risers do not bend easily. When a bow is put in the wrong press the person pressing the bow has got to crank the press a lot. My question is how a person does not realize this is happening while pressing.

    Some people, despite working with bows all day every day, just don't know.
    It's sad but true. People out there have been employed to be bowtechs, but have no practical or working knowledge of the equipment or products that they are working with.

    I find it amazing how many "bowtechs" that I talk to, that I know more about mechanics than they do. I picked up almost everything I have learned here in this forum.
    So really, all they have to do is read, and have a desire to learn and be the best they can.
