    Default Pure...how fast?

Soooo...as a new Elite owner and after 25 years of shooting fingers..I made the switch to a release bow and went with the Pure...WOW It almost feels like cheating! My previous bow was 20 years old and after 15 elk...time to retire the O'l Girl....

Question I have is this...what should I expect for speed out of this new rocket ship? I am shooting 28" with a 480 grain arrow at 73#...

I have two Pure's one is my target bow and is 70LB the other is an 80LB for hunting. Speeds are listed below. I will say your setup will be in the 265-270 FPS range... Of course that depends on the weight on your string.

Well I just shot it through the chrono and it came in at 283...so I guess I am pretty happy about that! Thing almost shoots itself!

Crayfin: You are getting about 15 FPS faster than the IBO rating of that bow with your setup... I would hold on to that bow, you got a smoker...! Usually people are complaining about coming in under IBO.

Good to see another Oregon Member on here...Welcome!
