    Default GT500 Letoff

I keep seeing threads pop up with crazy letoff numbers for the rev cam bows and I'm curious how you guys are achieving such high numbers. I'm holding about 18 lbs on a 2009 GT500 thats maxed at 72.2 pounds. DL is 1/4" long @ 29 1/4 and A2A is 34 5/8. I played with it for a few hours today and was able to get the holding weight down around 15 pounds but DL and DW were both running hot. Is there any way to get the DLS revs to 80% (or more) without running way long on draw? Or is this only achievable with the modular cams?

I have an 8.5 GT500 will dls cams. DW is 60# and holding weight is 12#, so that puts me around 80%. Draw length is about 1/8" long. The draw stops are as far back as they can go for max valley and letoff. Also, the rubber was taken off of the draw stops to get a little more valley.

Not complaining as 18 lbs is 75% letoff. Just wondering if anyone was getting more than 80% on the DLS rev cams. I can't seem to get any higher than 78% or so.

Your going the right direction. If you want more then 80% the dl and weight will be a tad more.
My 09 ended up about 73lbs holding 9 pounds. and measured 1/4 to 3/8ths long.
14lbs is 80% and you had it at 15? Pretty close.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.

Those are impressive letoff numbers Rick. When I had it down to 15 pounds it was running just over 3/8 long and 74.0 lbs. I have tinkered with it a lot and have yet to be able to get the holding weight under 15 lbs. I guess what I'm really aiming for is little more letoff and valley without getting any longer on the draw. Right now everything seems correct: cams are synced, DW peaks @ 6.5" 72.2 lbs, DL is 29.25", and A2A is 34 5/8" - only thing out is the high holding weight of 18+ lbs. Any more ideas, or do I just have to live with it?

    Thanks
    Drew

I have an 08.5 Gt at 61 lbs. , holding 11 lbs. I haven't checked draw length in awhile but it feels good , other specs are close enough. The tuning with the previous strings and cables had me holding 10 lbs. You should be holding less , are you sure your cams are synced ? Oh mine is 28.5 DL and the cables cross at the middle dot. My Gt seems to shoot the best with this tuning. There are some other guys on here that have alot more exp. than me that should chime in soon.
