Default Letoff issues on my new Pure

fellow archers im looking for some help. I recently purchased a Pure on AT and it was new. one of the things that sold me on the pure was the smooth draw and being able to hold it all day. when i got this bow setup with the new mods (30 in), the shop owner who is an elite dealer could not get the letoff to go any higher than 65%. We were drawing 64 pounds and holding 20 pounds consistently. The shop bow was drawing 61 pounds and holding 10 pounds. they tried twists adjustments and moving draw stops all the way out...no change. I think we are about ready to ship it back to elite and have them mess with it. it draws smooth but there is not much valley and it wants to leap out of my hands if i even think about creep. That was not the way it felt when i drew the shop bow a few weeks earlier and when i compared the two again it was night and day.

Any thoughts.... your help is appreciated.

    thanks

Have your dealer talk with elite. I remember reading something a month or so back that elite had some mods that the draw stop slots where cut to short. There was another thread on hear where the OP had the same problem.

    Default Same issue

Just posted a thread with the same issue, but mine is a Hunter. If I even think about a little creep it is going off. It does seem like the draw stops slots aren't long enough, like vhunter brought up.

Run into this with a 28.5 mod. I would call Elite and see what they want you to do.
I know what I would do. but not sure its recommended.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.

I had the EXACT same problem. the draw stop slots are not cut large enough. Call Elite and they can somewhat give you an idea on how much to mill out. Break out the micrometer and drill press... just dont cut too much!

Seriously??? That is kinda BS shouldn't they just send the correct mods out...or better yet shouldn't the correct ones come on the bow when they do final inspection and put on the good old #432 sticker? Seems to me the bow would be checked for tune, dw, and dl....so I would assume correct lo would be checked or measured when verifying the DL.

I believe the cut on the mods is 3/8ths....if not call elite and have them swap for you.....

Ya, I gotta agree with you, I am having this same problem with my Hunter I just bought, and can tell you there is no way I am spending 700.00 on a new bow and then have to have it milled to get some valley. I will send it to Elite and let them deal with it, if they won't send new mods.

Appreciate the info. That sounds plausible to me. Will send it to elitee them fix it.
