Rumble in the Rocks
Well the second leg of the Western States Triple crown was this past weekend. We had an amazing 225 shooters turn out which was great. The weather was a little windy but it definately helped keep the temperature down. I was excited to see three others shooting Elite bows. I spoke with them and they all had nothing but great things to say about there bows.
Well the competition was tough. I posted a 192 the first day putting me in 3rd and my wife posted a 187 putting her in 3rd. The second day the wind picked up which I was hoping would make things a little more difficult so I could make up the 9 points I needed. I posted a second day score of 200 which secured second place for me. My wife posted a 188 locking up 3rd place. It was a great even with a good turn out.
