The Evo is not harsh IMO. I think it's a smoother draw than any speed bow I tried. As smooth to me as the Hunter...I do not like the softer (non limb stop wall). I could also see how some could torque it.

When set up right, it blows most bows away with how low vibe and noise it has. All of my 2011 Elites have been louder with more recoil and vibe. HOWEVER, i just did not shoot the bow as good with the soft wall and my Stan Shootoff. If I can shoot it well...I cannot keep it. I did switch to a carter quickie...I could shoot the EVO better after that switch.

IMO, the EVO is the best PSE ever, and possibly one of the best speed bows that are huntable to date.

there is a reason Hoyt uses 3 base cams and string sizes, or IMO on there best cams, draw specif cams and strings.

There is a thread on AT now that the OP is wondering why there are so many Vendettas for sale on AT. Good thread to read.......

The Evo is definatley not loud. I can see it being easier to torque, but getting good with a 6" bh takes some practice. It is not a beginners bow.

Asymmetrical hybrid cams don't payout/takeup the same necessarily. And the string track remains the same, ala not designed for each DL, it can cause issues, as stated usually at ends of DL range.
The part I find personally amusing, is years ago I stated how the risers torque and flex so much that, like takeums thread about long stabs points in odd directions, the string stopper(much shorter) does it noticeably on the PSE riser, well that got glossed over and denied by PSE and their staff/fanboys, and here we are full circle with people realizing it.

Interesting, guess I won't really know until I try one, not gonna think about the 6" braces though.

If you had nock travel issues on the EVO it was not timed right. I put every EVO on the draw board to start(they are never right from the factory). Paper tuning has been a breeze with them. Speeds are very impressive. Here are some recent speeds I got this week:

    EVO--29/60--337 fps
    Pulse--29/60--330 fps
    Vengeance(7" brace)--29/60--327 fps

I'm in agreement, and the bow doesn't feel like a 6" BH!
