    Default Bent Cam/Mod.

I've had this issue for a while but just never did anything about it. Now that I want to sell my Judge to buy a 2011 Elite I need to resolve said issue and try to figure out what caused it...

While out hunting Elk back in November I saw something that made me go ...

My top cam on my 2010 Judge was bent. More so than that, the mod was bent more. They're 29.5" mods. If you're looking at it from behind the post that holds the cable on the mod is bent out and it took a bit of the cam with it. I don't know how long it had been like that. It's never been dry fired. Always shot correct spine/weight arrows. When I got the bow it was a 28" draw. All that's changed is the mods. I'm not sure what to do, really. Buy new cams and mods? Bend the mod back? Buy just a new mod? I've shot it since I've noticed it's bent. Nothing seems to be off.. I just wish I knew how it happened. I may have bumped it on something but I dont think I'd have ever hit it that hard.

Sorry I don't have pics. I'll take some when I get home. Thanks for your help.

Are the mods tight? I think its normal for the mod to be pulled out a little, not sure why the cam would look bent though, cam lean? I'm no expert but there are some here that will help. I'll be watching this thread, interested to see some pics, good luck.

Thanks JHens. The top picture is the bottom cam. Not bent. The rest are the top one. I don't think I bumped it hard enough to bend it that much. I don't know what happened.

No. That was my next step. I was just curious if anyone had seen this happen before.

I dont want to hurt your feelings but Ive seen one like that before. My sons bow!
He had a nock explode and a half dry fire. it bent the cam the exact same.
I would call Elite and see what can be done. I wouldnt try and just bend it back though.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.

That was what I was thinking as well Maybee. If yo look at one of the last pics one cam spacer appears to be missing on the left side. Usually happens in a dry fire situation, but the OP said it had not been dry fired so your idea was my next thought.
A whole lotta Elite's in my stable!
