Default The pulse and the gt

So those of you that have shot the Pulse and the GT are these similar to each other?
I know the Judge and the Pulse are closer in specs and the GT and the Pure are similar but I have never shot the Judge and the Pure only goes down to 27 1/2.
I am really liking my accuracy from my GT and from what a lot of guys are saying the pulse is a shooter!

Any input here what be great!

I have yet to shoot a GT500 with 2010 mod. rev cams but the Pulse and 09 GT500 are very different, specifically, the draw, valley and let-off. The Pulse is like blending a Z28 or Hunter with a Judge (i.e. 6" BH GT500). Super smooth and fast.

That kind of sounds like something that I would like! does it have a valley like the Hunter or Z? That is the one thing I am not crazy about on my GT is not much valley

Valley and let-off are adjustable and you can put it where you like. This Pulse has the most valley and let-off I have ever seen, except when locking up the GT500 without draw stops.

The Pulse max. DW (72 lbs) and holding weight (9 lbs) = 87.5% let-off. The 72 lbs draw is just as smooth as my 09 Z28. You can let your guard down with no worries. It is easy to get spoiled with the extra valley and let-off.

As I said in another thread, the Pulse will feel a lot like your Hunter. It loads up fast but smooth all the way through. I think it's a little smoother than the Hunter even.

I've got a 2010 GT500 and they both have the same valley to me. DEEP! The Pulse does have a slightly smoother transition into the valley though.

I like the GT500 better 'cause it doesn't load up so fast like the 2011's and noise and vibration are about the same. Also a little less cam lean IMO.

You also got to think about the 6" vs. 7" brace height. Some say it doesn't matter, but I'll take all the forgiveness I can.
Probably the earliest flyswatters were nothing more than some sort of striking surface attached to the end of a long stick.

I Guess I need to play with my Valley then because my draw stops are all the way out and I am at 60lbs and 13.5 in the valley.
lenghten my draw a little for more valley?

Good question. Maybe there's a difference at different draw lengths? Or maybe your cams are a little "retarded" as the manual says? I'm far from an expert. Have you measured the draw on a drawboard?
