Remmy, you have a lot to learn about an Envy my friend. The point to the Envy is SPEED!!! Not so much let-off or smoothness, but rather just pure SPEED!

The Envy has two types of mods. Speed and Smooth (so to speak). When the Envy first came out it was advertised as a 350fps bow but when it hit the streets it never made those speeds and there were several complaints since it was a $1K bow. Kevin then issued a black mod (or speed) to increase the speed. The Envy originally had copper colored mods to match the pockets and cams and they are now considered by many to be the smooth mods since they originally didn't make speed.

That's cool Tex.... I Already sold it to Twisted Archer Jamie and He restored her back to original... #155 is no-longer a Frankenbow.. She is now an original AT Envy thanks to Jamie and his love for Envy's....

thank you fellas its my wifes but i am trying to trade my elite to get her something else so i can have it i like it so much she (the envy) was special ordered back in the day to be a40/50 bow and i want so bad to stretch her legs and put 70lb limbs on it to see what it will do but until then i need bronze mods please 27.....or 27.5 please

Actually 10pt thats not correct. When the envy was introduced, it was introduced w/ EZ mods and speed mods. The ibo was supposed to be 350 for the EZ and 355 for the speed.

Awesome find BoCoMo. I haven't seen that thread in years. I was basing my post off of memory and I do remember several of the first ones being sent back for not making speeds. I wonder if the first speed mods were copper in color? I thought the black speed mods were Kevin's solution because I'm sure that the intention was for everything to match I.E. pockets, cams, mods, string stopper arms in copper/bronze. Good catch though.
