    Default Gold Tips

I was thinking about trying some goldtip xt hunters and was looking for some pros and cons of them. I have only shot carbon express for the longest time but it seems like the price is going higher and higher. I tried Beemans, bowhunter 400s to be exact but it seems like there were alot more odd balls in a dozen compared to CX, is Goldtip comparable to CX.

I have shot Gold Tips off and on since they came out. I think, dollar for dollar, they are one of the best arrows you can buy. They are very durable, I have broke them, but I have also shot things that I though would break them and they didnt. I dont think you will be dissappointed.

Con's= When you hit a rock so hard it bends the insert, and the tip, inside the arrow, they tend to CRACK!
Also when another arrow pushes the nock inside the back of the arrow, they SPLIT!!

My oldest son has taken first at state twice! Once with the older ones, supposedly straighter, and once with the newer ones. We shoot nothing but!

AHHH CRUD!!!! Just bought them some Victory X-killers yesterday. Am I bad?

I run the XT Hunters, and I really see no reason to switch. Absolutely love these arrows.

I notice they they are very consistant from year to year, and lot to lot, so that makes it nice. Its easy when you know they can be mixed and not effect the accuracy

X2..Really like the Velocity XT's..They seem pretty durable and consistant from shaft to shaft..Shooting them with Gateway Rayzr feathers 100gr, points with an additional 10gr front insert they are in 340'sgr range..I think they will work fine for hunting considering most of our deer are about the size of a good house dog..
