That is something a High school kid would do, I would not expect that from a business owner. Extremely unprofessional IMHO

I would rip his head off and S**T down his neck! J/K, I think it would have been okay, if he would have been asked first.

I personally wouldn't mind. My dealer probably takes better care of my bow than me, and I am pretty picky. I doubt if he would in the first place.

The first question I asked, when he called to0 tell me it was in was, have ya shot it yet? He said no, I just took it out of the box. So I asked him what the **** he was waiting for!

    Would not be pretty.

only thing i can think of that would calm me or have me not worry, would be knowing which tech/owner allowed it and the people he let shoot it.

a phone call asking would have gone miles in this situation.

If it was paid for then yes I would be upset. If it wasnt and just ordered in a draw length for you then NO. Unless you put money down its the shops bow.
I would never let someone shoot anothers bow with out permission and then I doubt it.
I did let a couple guys shoot a hunter I ordered. and later sold to a member here. But at the time for all I knew he was thinking of buying the bow. Not pre paid or ordered.
No ifs and or buts Just maybee.

As long as the owner/tech was supervising I wouldnt care that much. If others shoot the bow then they are seating the strings before a good tuneup.

Now if they just handed my bow off to some clown that just walked thru the door and sent him to the range to shoot at his will unsupervised then I'd be a little irritated.

Technically, the shop/dealer owns it until the buyer picks it up. If Elite has a problem with this, they could deal with customers direct instead of using dealers as intermediaries.

I like to have first crack at opening the box and taking everything out. So, my dealer is kind enough to leave everything alone until I get there. He teases me that he's taken it out back and given the bow the Hoyt-Carbon-Matrix durability test with his Oldsmobile.

HUH............ This shop dealer would not last long if he uses this business practice on a continued basis.

So you won't have a problem if X dealer gave your paid for bow to a 16 year old kid to shoot before you came in to pick up your $1,000.00 investment?

Would not bother me a bit. I have bought a lot of used bows and used vehicles. Does shooting them a few times hurt their value? They have a lifetime warranty don't they.
