    Default ASAT 3D Vanish Suit

Well, after several months, ASAT seems to be getting a supply of their 3D Vanish suits in soon. They're taking advanced orders on their website now. I've been trying to get one of these since October of last year. Just placed my order tonight. Anyone have an experience with these? Like or dislikes.

I tried one last season. I was so excited to get one finally and when I used it the thing cost one of the biggest bucks ever. I moved ever so slightly and it spoted me turning my head and ran. Just not good for tree stand hunting in the south it seems to me.

I didn't move to fast either.

I use ASAT 3D in both NW Florida and SE Georgia from tree stands exclusively. I have not had any issues with being busted. I personally like the stuff. As said before, it does not do well in brier or other clingy vegetation. Rips easily.

The 3D suits are NOISY when you move.. the t-shirts I have are all fading faster than any of my other camo.. Dealers have had a hard time of getting any.. I do like the pattern but I think i'll be using somthing else when these are done

    I'm happy with mine.
I bought my ASAT stuff about 5 years ago. It was made in the US that time (not in Far East like nowadys) and I haven't any issues of fading colors or fabric quality.

The noise of the 3D suit I brought down to zero after some sessions in the tumble dryer.
Since I mostly hunt in Africa, crawling through thorny bushes, the suit has some punishment to take.
Except of some minor damages due to intensive usage in the bush, the suit is in excellent condition.

I wanted to bump this back up to see if anyone had some more opinions. I was thinking of getting a suit for Christmas, but not if its gonna tear up easy or be noisy drawing a bow. Also, I mostly hunt in a treestand, but have been trying to stalk some. It's just hard here in the southeast...kinda thick.

The only noise i notice from mine is if it's windy, but leaves make noise in the wind also so i don't think it's something to make a big deal of. The head net though is hard to hear with it on in a windy day. My leafy suit has got caught on some windfall branches i crawl over and hasn't torn yet. Everyone i know that uses it swears by it and has given it some hard test, like sitting up in a lone tree in the middle of a pasture when the leaves were already gone and had deer walk right under him, he now doesn't hunt without it.

I have a astat leafy suit I bought earlier this year. I live in southeast missouri and it blends in very well here. I am very impressed with it and it makes you disappear in about every situation. I have been hunting on the ground some this year and have been very close to several deer without being busted. I haven't noticed it being noisey at all. I have seen some suits that were very loud. As for the durablility, I don't have any complaints. These types of suits are going to be more easily torn because of the construction. The asat camo does work and I'll continue to use it and buy more. The leafy suit is a great investment and I highly suggest buying one.

I have an ASAT leafy suit and have had good and bad results with it. I only wash it in scent free soap so there are no added UV's but I have had deer pick me off in a tree in the early season for no apparent reason before like I was wearing a flashing neon sign. I have also had deer and turkeys that were extremely close to me and had no idea that I was there. On the ground I don't think there is any better camo. I call it my "invisible suit".
