Well, the long wait has finally ended, about 10 1/2 weeks total. Bows set up some what, have to walk back to 45 yds, and I put it through the chrono to compare to what Michael got. So here it is.
289 gr arrow - 330
300 gr arrow - 331, this is the speed Michael got with loop only
332 gr arrow - 309
347 gr arrow - 305, I hunt with this one
386 gr arrow - 290, have hunted with this as well, deadly for elk
412 gr arrow - 278
424 gr arrow - 275
I lost 4 fps by adding a peep.
Also originally had a biscuit on it and it was 5 fps slower. Once the Kazaway came in I set it up and the above speeds are with the Kazaway, peep, loop, 29" draw at 61.8#'s. Not to bad.
Bows 16fps faster than my 04 Bowtech Extreme, not much but the GTO holds like a rock. The draw kind of reminds me of a Mathews Switchback in a way, but, your not holding a boat anchor when you have a hold of the GTO. It pulls evenly all the way and just drops into the valley and you hardly even notice it.
I feel this is the best bow I have ever shot and I might buy another one for a back-up.
