I'd guess a little more. I can't find the weight of the BowJax, but peeps are typically 9-10 grs., and a typical d-loop is 5-6 grs. So, I think w/o the Jax, you're at 15 grs. I would guess you're closer to 20-25 grs.??

Yes Smeagol you are right. I was meaning the Bow Jax themselves were at least 15 grains.

Is it only me or are both bows around 15-18fps below the advertised speeds?

2011 Elite Pulse shot through chrono at Cinnamon Creek Archery shop...

61 lb maxxed....342 grain Easton Flatline 400 arrows......29" draw....8 arrows shot .....meta peep (4.5gr), loop (4-5 grains) and the stock worm looking string suppressors (no idea)....

303.5 to 306.7 FPS with most in the 305+ slot......

1 fps per 5grains of arrow weight which differs from 5gr./#
5 -7 fps difference for a loaded string
3 fps for the 5gr./# ration shot at a 60# setup instead of 70#


Would like to see a test just with a tie-on nocking point at exactly 70#, DL30" with a 350gr. arrow.
Just to verify and to minimze the room for error.

I dont have a 30 inch mod. I do have a 30.5 and a Pure set at 62lbs with a 326 gr carbon tech cheetah. chrono speed is 328 tru peep and string loop. stock strings rubber cushions and tune out of the box.
I also have it tuned now and speed knocks, still stock strings shooting 57lbs 289 gr Victory XRingers shooting 332fps loop and peep.

I think you will find Most of the 2011 have met their advertised IBO rate. with a loaded string.

Sounds like these 2011's are quite a bit slower than my 2010 Judge at 28.5" 400 gr Axis shooting 308fps. But I've heard they are smooth.
