    Default Hey Texas guys...

A friend and I where talking shortly after your guys reviews/videos of the new bows. We where really suprised at how much you all liked the Hunter. Well the Hunter is a great bow but I am wondering have you guys ever given a 2009 or 2010 Z28 a legitimate test?? or is the Hunter test the first "treestand" type bows you guys have given a shakedown of??

I have had my hands on many different Z-28s (08.5-09-10) Great bow great draw, smooth.
But seriously does not compare to the draw of the Hunter. the Hunter is what would be comparing a Synergy to a Z-28 draw IMHO

I'm sure the Texas guys on here are very familiar with the Z28 and the new HUNTER cause most of them, if not all, are hunters. I trust their opinion.

I've shot a few Z28's and I like the new Hunter too. But with that said, I'm getting a PURE! I'm a longer ATA guy.

I was really tickled when I saw the ATA on the PURE....just another reason I ordered one. That and the Texas guys report on the PURE.

The Z28 is a great bow and still in the Elite line up for 2011. But they are two different animals. Shoot a hunter and then shoot a z28 they will both be very nice, but there will be a noticable difference in draw cycle between them.

I totally agree with this statement. The 60lb Z28 I drew back felt like 60lbs to me but the 60lb Hunter felt like drawing 40lbs. It was that much easier. Both great bows but these new one's convinved me to drop down to 60lb bows.
