Default Hounds for Cougars in WA

Has anybody heard if the bill that is going to allow us to hunt cougars with hounds has passed in the Senate. It has already passed in the House and was supposed to be in the Senate last week.

    Default cougars

The house bill # is HB2438. I did a general search for hunting cougars with hounds in Washington State and it had quite a few links to choose from.

Confusing I checked it out and I'm not sure if its just a pilot program for three more years for the whole state or what it means.

Well that would even help. The are killing the elk herd off here and My deer herd has gone from 250 to 75. I fugure I have around 4 cats within a mile of the house. Besides the big tom that hangs around my house. I just can't get a shot at him

Rick I think you are right. It looks like an Extention of the pilot program. I think I saw something to the same effect on the Washington Wildlife site.

I think it is an extension of the pilot program but adding it out to the rest of the state instead of just the 5 northeast counties
