    Default 08 Synergy X

Guys I have a trade offer on one of these and I've never even seen one. I know I would have to change out the cams because the dl is to short. What can you all tell me about these bows? It has been dipped in ASAT.

    Thanks.

The Syn X is a great bow! It has a super smooth/nice draw cycle with a nice valley. Mine IBO'd about 335fps. They have draw modules so you would only need to change out the mods not the cams. They do run at least 1/2" long. Mine ran 5/8" to 3/4" long.

    I regret selling mine!

Dusty, how does the draw compare to a '10 Z28?

Great bow. If you got an offer for a trade for your Z, the guy better be giving you something extra though. The Z's still worth quite a bit more. The draw is not as smooth on the SynX as the Z, but still quite good. The SynX is faster, but if you're not a speed guy I would just stick with the Z. If you want a really fast bow that pulls like a mule, you could probably find somebody to trade you straight up for a Judge. There are a lot of guys out there who bought them and are switching to the GT500 and the Z28 for the smoother and easier draw. I like the Judge, but I don't really care how smooth the bow pulls. I just want it to be quiet and fast.

If you are referring to the '10 Z then the Z will be somewhat smoother but like mentioned the Syn X is faster.
If you just want more speed then go with the Syn X. If you are more interested in a smoothness and ease of draw then go with the Z.
The Syn X is not stiff by any means but it is not as smooth as the Z.
Personally if I could have gotten the Syn X draw length right for me I would still be shooting it and would choose it over a Z just b/c it is smooth enough but faster.
Were only talking 10-15 fps difference though.

I wouldn't trade without shooting the Synergy first.

What years did they make the Syn X? Can anyone post a photo? I'd like to look at. Also, what is the ATA on the Syn X? Thanks

Oh Lord no. I wouldnt trade my Z28 for any other bow made today. Its for another bow I have been trying to sell. Kind of what I thought. I appreciate the replies guys. I think I will just sell my other bow because I need some cash flow.

The Synergy XT is basically the same bow as the GTO. It draws a little smoother and is about 5fps slower. Its a great bow for sure and would be faster than a Z28. All of the 08's ran at least 1/2" long on the draw and some even more. Its a 33" ATA/7" BH bow.

Not to be rude but imho the E-500 & SH Energy are in a different class
it's not a class by itself but it doesn't take long to call roll.
It's an Elite so it's a great bow and a good friend of mine has one,I have shot it, it's a shooter!!!!! guarantee you will not be dissatisfied!!!!!!
In my opinion it's a little smoother drawing slightly slower GTO,but that has been said elsewhere, I believe by Texas10pt.
